Bigfoot can’t
dance,
Cyclops can’t
wink;
Vampires can’t
sunbathe,
And zombies, they
stink.
Yetis get
frostbite,
Devils sweat a
lot;
Each one wishes
It’s something
it’s not.

About the Poet: When he was a kid, Aurelio Rico Lopez III
was asked by his teacher, ‘If you were stranded on a remote island, what two
things would you want with you?’ His answer: a notebook and a pen. After
twenty years, his answer remains unchanged.
