breadcrumb trail that none follow

where life's suspended

ship singing rudderless

life sails sky road to nowhere

into the darkness

reason predicts solitude

till time's final crunch

troubled orb supernova

shattered ship daguerreotype

derelict glowing

frozen pools sublimate

lichens unfurl

All too soon starlight

passes and fading dooms wall

flora to night

Just another Monday in Space by semi

jettisoning the morning

people out the airlock

first cup of coffee

 *

checking gauges

in engineering

second cup of joe

 *

 afternoon break

 life support still

 fully functional

 *

 evening watch

 that shuddering sound

in cargo bay 4

 *

jettisoning self

from the airlock

no more coffee
