"When I viewed the three pieces of art by Cathy Buburuz on the Images page I was inspired to write about her world of Altrasia, and decided to take up her challenge posted there. Tree of Being is the result for Altrasian Art. I also have begun a poem for Altrasian Serpent and a very short story for Alien Sea with the goal and idea of tieing the three pieces of Cathy's art together through my writing so others can see a glimpse into the magical and wonderful world of Altrasia"

Wiccawistra
The Tree of Being
Talisman to Altrasia
Of this interweaving
Of the natural whole
Her evergreen essence
Branches across the globe
Giving all existence
This kindred shine of soul

Carried by Lepanadae
The mystical Monarch of Wind
And bearer of seasonal change
The magical seeds within
Wiccawistra's redberry fruit
Spreads over Altrasia's span
Borne on double wings of ruby hue
This mutual spirit embraces the land
As the Tree of Being seeds take root

Nurtured in the abode of earth
The sacred seedlings swiftly grow
Cared for by Annecha, the Humus Wurm
This animate magic flowers and flows
To forest the greening of harmony
Between each and every species
To live and prosper by their own design
As creatures connected equally
In this cosmic circle of life ....
