"This is the second poem for Cathy's world of Altrasia, connected with "Tree of Being." I am currently working on a short story for Cathy's "Alien Sea" as well to also connect with my two poems about Altrasia. And I'm also working on creating an Altrasian Glossary of Deities and Magical Entities, plus an Altrasian Glossary of words translated to English(or Terran)"

As sable shadows slide from sight
Moon Queen Melene's serene aura wanes
Solere rises into the sky
And follows the night's dwindling wake
Spreading this warm radiant tide
From gleaming gold and turquoise scales
Solere soars these heavenly heights
Of the drowsy Altrasian day
To magic the land in his gift of light

As the Sky Serpent's flight begins
Shining on Wiccawistr'a leaves
Perched within the shelter of limbs
Arachneus, Weaver of Dreams
Remains hidden, busy spinning
All the websilk she needs
To hold the coming night's visions
Meant for those at doorsill of sleep
When pillow of moontide flows in

As Melene's gloaming essence arrives
Flitting wings of silverblue glitter
Come dancing through Moon Queen's sky
Filling darkness with starshine shimmer
As the Cosmoths, Saturnadae
Waltz round the Tree of Being
Gathering webs Arachneus made
And carry the spun silk of dreams
To the sleepers until Solere awakes ....
