Altrasian FireflybyCathy Buburuz© 05/09/03
"The female Altrasian firefly never sleeps. She is often seen gathering nectar or building nests from flower petals. The male of the species is rarely seen and is active for only a few hours in the dead of night when it visits the female's nest to fertilize eggs. The eggs of the Altrasian firefly are mauve with red spots, are hot to the touch, and considered a delicacy consumed only by chiefs of the various Altrasian tribes."
